As WSU’s Vice President for Finance and Business Services and Deputy CFO, Matt Skinner (CPA, MBA) provides leadership to business and finance functions of WSU, including: financial reporting and analysis, treasury, debt management, payroll, accounts receivable, student accounts, accounts payable, travel, strategic sourcing, purchasing, contracts, real estate, general accounting, and sponsored program services.

Angie brings 30 years of experience to WSU. As Associate Vice President for Finance and University Controller at Idaho State University, Angie’s portfolio included student financial services, financial reporting & analysis, disbursements, and purchasing. She’s provided leadership in strategic assignments and collaborated extensively with payroll, grant/contract accounting, and the budget office.
Gerik Kimble
Executive Director, Modernization & Process Improvement
Gerik Kimble is motivated by moving the University forward with process and technology improvements. During his time with WSU, he has seen many successes that make WSU staff and faculty work life much better. With Workday, he is excited to take a giant leap forward.
Eric Rogers
Senior Director, Procurement and Contract Services
As Director of Procurement and Contract Services, Eric Rogers provides oversight to Procurement, Contract, and Payment Services.
Keeping the university’s core educational, operational and research activities supported by timely and compliant sourcing of quality goods and services at the right price has been a major emphasis for the Procurement Services team under his leadership. As a working manager, Eric gets involved in the high risk, strategic and complex agreements needed to support the university.
Tracy Helmsworth
Director, Real Estate Services
As the Director of Real Estate Services for Washington’s land grant university, Tracy is responsible for leadership and oversight of all University real estate transactions, including: acquisitions and dispositions; long-term leases and ground leases; boundary line adjustments; deeds; and development and execution of public private development opportunities.
Arthur Whitten
Director, Treasury Services
Arthur Whitten is Washington State University’s Director of Treasury Services responsible for university cash, debt, and investment management and provides leadership to merchant services programs. Treasury Services safeguards and invests over $600 million of WSU operating funds returning investment income to university services systemwide. Arthur supports new money and refunding debt capital market transactions and completion of continuing disclosure obligations. As Director, Arthur also manages university financial institution relationships and annual PCI DSS compliance validation.
