Jon leads WSU’s Treasury Services, focusing on debt management, post issuance compliance, investment management and daily treasury activities. In addition, Jon engages with several offices across the WSU System for strategic debt planning, long-term integrated financial forecasting, and various business initiatives.
Jon was named the AVP for Business and Financial Services in June of 2022 after serving as the Chief Financial Officer for WSU Athletics. While with WSU Athletics, Jon oversaw all facets of the athletic business office including: business operations, budget development, non-sport contracts, and departmental audits.
Prior to WSU, Jon served in a similar capacity at Lamar University as the Chief Operating/Chief Financial Officer for Lamar University Athletics. Prior to his role at Lamar University, Jon spent two years at Abilene Christian University as the Manager of Financial planning and budgeting where he oversaw the $130M annual operating budget.
